About GGP

Now, about our owner Greg Stuart. He has been one of British Columbia’s mainstay session and live drummers since (yes, we’ll say it) the 1900s. We won’t say exactly how long, but at least since the last century. He is the heartbeat of Grene Genes Productions.

From playing with rock, pop, jazz, folk, and experimental bands to supporting live theatre and ballet productions, our owner Greg has adapted to all kinds of playing environments. His full service recording studio is currently under renovations and will be back online in early 2027.

He has recorded, engineered, produced and/or played on dozens of albums over the decades, and Grene Genes Productions has helped many Canadian talents get their music to the world.

He’s also a pretty great drummer 😉
